Crimean agrarians harvested almost 84 thousand tons of fruit and berry products, which exceeds the level of last year by 16,5%. In orchards and berry fields, the crop has already been harvested from 12% of the area of fruit-bearing plantations.
Now in the gardens of the peninsula, apples and pears of late ripening are being harvested. Farmers removed from the trees about 77 thousand tons of fruits, and this is on % more than in the same period last year. Work continues in the nut orchards, so already collected 12 tons of almonds and hazelnuts. Also, garden strawberries are harvested in the Crimean berry fields and greenhouses. 77 tons from an area of 25 hectares have already been collected in closed ground. The head of the Crimean Ministry of Agriculture also recalled that the largest areas of garden strawberries are in Bakhchisaray, Dzhankoy, Nizhnegorsk and Leninsky districts.
