In the repertoire poster of the State Academic Musical Theater of the Republic of Crimea, the play “Truffaldino from Bergamo” will appear. In the theater, the first reading took place, which was held by the director of the production of Angelica Dobrunov. She spoke about the author of the play by Carlo Goldoni, which was written by him in 1749 according to the canons of comedy del arte.

The musical “Truffaldino from Bergamo” is a fun and fascinating story about the adventures of a cunning servant who manages to manipulate his owners and arrange funny situations. The dexterous rogue of Truffaldino manages to arrange the fate of his gentlemen, and at the same time personal happiness.

The music of Alexander Kolker, filled with Italian spirit and melody, is ideal for this light plot. Poems to the songs of Kim Ryzhov reveal the characters of the heroes and their relationship, maintaining the atmosphere of the Italian comedy, which is famous for its humor and unpredictability.

The premiere of the musical is scheduled for June of this year.
