In the Republic of Crimea, police detained a person accused of blowing up a car in Simferopol

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea and the regional Directorate of the FSB of Russia detained a resident of the city of Simferopol. He is accused of illegally manufacturing an explosive device and attempted murder. It has been previously established that the defendant made a homemade bomb and attached it to the car of an employee of the Zaporozhye region administration. At night, he carried out a remote-controlled explosion. Three people inside the vehicle received burns and were hospitalized.
Based on the results of the examinations, the police determined that an explosive device had gone off in the car. The attacker was detained; during a search, fuses and foreign-made explosives were confiscated from him.— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
The materials collected by the operational services were transferred to the Russian Investigative Committee for investigative actions.
