In the Republic of Crimea, those sentenced to forced labor at the Federal Research Center No. 2 were awarded GTO badges

In the village Krasnogvardeyskoye, those sentenced to forced labor serving their sentences in the station functioning as correctional center No. 2 were presented with signs and certificates of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex “Ready for Labor and Defense.”
On this day, convicts who had previously successfully fulfilled the standards of the GTO complex were awarded 12 gold badges and 1 bronze badge. During the event, Chairman and member of the Public Supervisory Commission of the Republic of Crimea Andrey Kozar and Diana Potapova congratulated the participants on their sporting achievements, wished them to actively engage in physical education and adhere to a healthy lifestyle. Let us note that the sporting event was organized by representatives of the PSC of the Republic of Crimea with the assistance of employees of the regional TRP testing center and employees of the regional Federal Penitentiary Service. Under the guidance of instructors, convicts from the Federal Research Center No. 2 were tested in such disciplines as standing long jumps, bending over on a gymnastic bench, lifting the body from a supine position, bending and straightening the arms in a prone position, pull-ups, and sprinting 60 m and long distance 3000 m.,” reported the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
