In the Simferopol district, a drunk mopedist was wearing. The police had to catch the «hero»

Employees of the road patrol service of the State traffic inspectorate of the Simferopol district during the service in the village of Dobro filed a request to stop the driver of a moped who was driving without a helmet. However, the offender continued the movement and tried to hide.

Police, turning on special signals on the car, began the pursuit of a moped. After the repeated demand to stop, the driver continued to try to get away from the chase. Soon the moped was stopped on one of the rural streets. The behavior of a 37-year-old driver indicated that he was driving while driving. The man refused to undergo a medical examination to establish the degree of intoxication on the spot or in the medical institution. In addition, he managed a moped without having a driver’s license,-the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea said.

It was established that the driver had previously committed a similar offense and was deprived of the right to drive vehicles. Police officers seized the moped from the offender and sent to a specialized parking lot.

In relation to the driver, a number of protocols on an administrative offense were drawn up:

  • under Part 2 of Art. 12.25 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Failure to comply with the legal requirement of a police officer to stop the vehicle”. The sanction of the article provides an administrative fine of five hundred to eight hundred rubles.
  • under Part 2 of Art. 12.7 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Direct management of a driver, deprived of the right to drive vehicles”. This type of offense entails the imposition of an administrative fine of thirty thousand rubles, or administrative arrest for up to fifteen days, or mandatory work for a period of one hundred to two hundred hours.
  • under Art. 12.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation of the Rules for applying belts of safety or motorizedopers” — entails the imposition of an administrative fine in the amount of one thousand five hundred rubles.

Also in the actions of the offender, the signs of the crime provided for in Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Management of a vehicle in a state of intoxication by a person subjected to administrative punishment”. The sanction of the article provides for a penalty of a fine of 200 thousand rubles to imprisonment for up to three years.

The material collected against the driver was transferred from the inquiry department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Simferopol district for further verification.
