In the Simferopol district, the prosecutor’s office approved an indictment in a criminal case against a 40-year-old resident of the city of Armyansk. He is charged under Part 1 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules, resulting in negligence in causing serious harm to health).
According to investigators, the accused, driving a Peugeot, was driving along the highway “border with the Kherson region-Simferopol-Alushta-Yalta”. In the area of the village of Perevalnoye, the accused did not choose a safe speed, lost control and, as a result of a side skid, drove into oncoming traffic, where he collided with a Daewoo Nexia car. As a result of a traffic accident, a passenger in the Peugeot car was injured and was hospitalized in a healthcare facility.— the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea gave details.
With the approved indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Simferopol District Court for consideration on the merits.
