In order to identify and bring to justice drivers driving vehicles while intoxicated, and to prevent road accidents involving drunk drivers, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Simferopol District will hold an operational and preventive event “Drunken Driver” from January 19 to 21.
State Traffic Inspectorate reminds! For driving a vehicle while intoxicated, transferring control of a vehicle to a person in a state of intoxication, as well as for the driver’s failure to comply with the requirement to undergo a medical examination for intoxication, administrative liability is provided in the form of a fine in the amount of 30 thousand rubles with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles. for a period of 1.5 to 2 years. For repeated commission of the above offenses within a year, criminal liability is provided under Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
