Avito analysts studied the work of how the average proposed salaries of employees in the field of beauty have changed in the Southern Federal District. According to the results of the first half of 2025, the average wages for them increased by 14%, amounting to 56,390 rubles/month.

The actual income of specialists in the field of beauty depends on individual factors. In addition to a fixed salary, the salary is affected by the number of procedures performed, a bonus system, the percentage of services and seasonal workload. Because of this, real earnings may differ from the average values specified in vacancies.

The leader of the average offered salaries in the Southern Federal District in the first half of 2025 became the leader of the makeup artist. The average proposed salaries for applicants for this position increased by 31% and reached 78 194 rubles/month.

The profession of masters of hair removal takes the second position in the rating of the growth of the proposed salaries. Over the past year, the average salary offers for these employees increased by 27%. Employers offer such employees about 62,754 rubles/month.

The third place is occupied by barbers. They began to offer candidates for this position on average 24% more than a year earlier. In the first half of 2025, the average proposed salary of Barber amounted to 89,096 rubles/month. At the same time, the income of specialists largely depends on the experience, the number of customers and the orders implemented.

Avito experts also found that the most popular experts of the beauty industry following the results of the first half of 2025 in the Southern Federal District became fitness trainers, the demand for which increased more than 2 times (+105%) compared to the same period last year. This is due to the transformation of consumer habits and the formation of a trend on a healthy lifestyle, in which people began to invest more often in personal training. The second place was taken by the profession of a makeup artist — the demand for them over a year increased by 61%.

The beauty industry demonstrates a steady increase in salaries, which indicates deep structural changes in the market. This trend is due to several interconnected factors: an increase in consumer costs for care procedures, a shortage of qualified personnel and the active expansion of beauty salons. The current situation opens up new prospects for industry specialists. However, it is important to consider that along with the growth of demand for services, the requirements for the quality of the service are also increased.
