Summer schools of the Megan Academy are a project previously known as educational races for young cultural figures, art and creative industries. Despite the change of names, tasks and content of schools remain unchanged: these are seven-day cultural and educational programs that include the work of art schools in various directions: music, theater, choreography, design, architecture, cinema, tourism, gastronomy, enlightenment, science and others.
The key and most important idea of summer schools for us is to collect in one place representatives of a variety of creative directions from all over the country — those who are unlikely to intersect in their usual life. And on Tauris, they not only get acquainted, but also in the atmosphere of co -creation they exchange experience and ideas, “quit”, work together on new projects. The participants are supported by experts — industrial professionals. In addition, every year we expand the list of areas of activity. So, this season, we invite employees of rural cultural institutions, librarians, representatives of the tourism industry and the sphere of charity, participants in regional youth councils on culture to participate in summer schools. As a result, every year we get beautiful, bright projects and ultimately observe how the inspired, initiative and active community of young creators is formed— says Ksenia Artemyeva, General Director of the Tavrida artillester.
During their work, summer schools have already become the largest platform to unite creative youth of Russia. In the framework of summer schools, experts from different fields share knowledge and experience with young creators. Participants in practice master the skills they need for creative and professional growth, and also together create new projects.
Each new season of summer schools becomes thematic. In 2025, all schools will be connected by the topic “Heroes”, which will unite the great figures of culture, art and science. Schools will be devoted to such outstanding personalities as Peter Tchaikovsky, Ivan Aivazovsky, Oleg Tabakov and others. Partners of the programs of summer schools will be the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, large state corporations, museums, theaters and academy from all over the country, producer centers, professional associations and unions.
It will open the season Summer school dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the composer Georgy Sviridov. It will pass from 4 to 10 June and will include four art schools: modern music, musical management and producing, choreography, as well as «Design laboratory.»
Musicians, authors, electronic musicians and musical producers under the guidance of experienced mentors will work on creating new works in Russian. In addition, the participants will have the opportunity to declare themselves: take part in castings and work with partner labels.
The program of art school of musical management and producing will be devoted to advanced training of music managers, PR managers, a & R-managers and specialists of music labels.
Dancers, choreographers and choreographers will be able to put their own dance performance and develop the concept of a new dance event-a championship or competition for the art-cluster festival site. But the main goal of the work of the art school will be the formation of the main composition of ballet, which will work on an ongoing basis at the Academy of Creative Industry “Megan” throughout the year, as well as at the festival venue of the Tauris art cluster during the summer season.
In “Design Laboratory”, practical skills will be developed by graphic and brand designers, marketers and copywriters-senior students, young and experienced specialists. They will be able to work on creating the concepts of merchants for partner organizations.
From 12 to 18 June will pass Summer school dedicated The 90th anniversary of the theater actor and director Oleg Tabakov. It will unite four art schools: Theater for the smallest, inclusive theater, directing events and The first art school “Zemstvo employee of culture” appeared.
In the theater art school for the smallest directors, producers, theater managers, artistic managers and director of children’s and teenage theaters will develop projects of performances for spectators from 0 to 5 years.
The art school of the inclusive theater will collect directors, managers and producers who want to develop inclusive culture in Russian theaters: they are waiting for a series of lectures and practical classes on directing and producing.
Theatrical and circus directors, as well as the directors of events, producers, specialists in the field of organizing and conducting cultural events, Event-organizers and leaders of creative groups who want to try their hand at creating mass performances and holidays, will be able to not only study the theory, but also apply knowledge in practice, realizing their own ideas. And the three best participants will be able to get an internship in the partner company.
The art school «Zemsky cultural worker» will be implemented in conjunction with the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. It will help young specialists of rural cultural institutions to increase their professional competencies-to develop the skills of organizing cultural events, effective management, developing socialization of social projects, as well as interactions with various target audiences and work with youth and local communities.
Within the framework of the program of summer schools, a competition of Rosmolodzh. Graints, which is held by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodzhi) will be held. In addition to the competition itself, individual consultations and lectures from experts are planned, where participants will learn about the possibilities of grant support and receive practical tools for creating a social project.
