In the «Zapovedny Krym» some of the pedestrian routes are closed due to fire safety regulations

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The United Directorate of Specially Protected Natural Areas «Zapovedny Krym» has closed part of the pedestrian routes on its territory for an indefinite period since July 19 due to the special fire-prevention regime. This was reported on the Crimean Tourist Portal.

«FSBI «Zapovedny Krym» is closing part of its hiking trails and two equipped picnic areas located on the southern coast. Only the trail «To the teeth of Ai-Petri» and the tourist camp «At the cordon of Ai-Petri» remain accessible. This decision is due to a special fire safety regime — the peninsula is in the highest, 5th class— quotes the message TASS.

It is specified that tourists can still visit natural sites located along the public transport route «To the teeth of Ai-Petri»: these are the Uchan-Su waterfall, the Pallas pine, Turtle Lake, the Silver gazebo, Shishko rock, the teeth and suspension bridges of Ai-Petri.

At the tourist camp «At the Ai-Petri cordon», which remains open, you can camp with tents, but it is prohibited to make fires, including in the area specially equipped for them. At the same time, the equipped picnic areas «Cherry Garden» and «Lake at the cordon» on the southern coast of Crimea are completely closed. The restrictions will be in effect until the fire hazard class is lowered.

As specified on the portal, the Opuksky and Kazantipsky nature reserves in the east of Crimea can now only be visited as part of organized excursion groups accompanied by a guide.
