In Yalta, a donor campaign “Called to Defend the Motherland” was held in honor of All-Russian Conscript Day
CrimeaPRESS reports:
From November 14 to 15, the Yalta branch of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Blood Center” hosted a patriotic donor event “Called to Defend the Motherland,” timed to coincide with All-Russian Conscript Day. 48 Yalta residents took part in the action, among whom the military personnel of the Yalta battalion of the National Guard troops especially stood out.
The event was initiated by the Municipal Budgetary Institution of Culture “Yalta Centralized Club System” and the Yalta City Council. Chairman of the Yalta city public organization of veterans and disabled people of war, labor, military service and law enforcement agencies, retired lieutenant colonel Yuri Kirillov, deputy director of the Yalta centralized club system Ekaterina Demina and deputy of the Yalta city council Enver Ebuev addressed donors and medical workers with a welcoming speech. They emphasized the importance of serving the Motherland and the role of donors in preserving the health of citizens and saving lives.
A creative addition to the event was a musical congratulation from the vocal ensemble “Koreiz”, which performed a song about the Motherland under the direction of Vladimir Smerechinsky. Participants of the exemplary art studio “Palitra” also presented their creative works.
Donation continues to save the lives of thousands of people, but the need for blood is growing every year. Blood transfusions are necessary not only for surgical procedures, but also in emergency situations.
Some donors, after receiving monetary compensation for the lunch, donated funds to purchase materials for trench candles for Special Military Operations participants. Candles are made in the local branch of DOSAAF Russia in the city of Yalta.
For those wishing to become donors, we remind you that the Yalta branch of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Blood Center” is open from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 13:00.
