In Yalta, a man is suspected of stealing construction tools
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A local resident contacted the duty station of police department No. 1 “Alupkinsky” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Yalta with a statement of theft. The man said that some time ago, an unknown person stole construction tools from a room located on his local property. The amount of damage caused amounted to more than 25 thousand rubles.
An investigative team arrived at the scene of the incident. Thanks to the competent actions of the police officers, the theft was solved. The suspect was identified and detained at his place of residence in one of the cities of Crimea. He turned out to be a 41-year-old man who knew the victim and knew about the presence of property on the property.
As it turned out, several years ago the attacker carried out construction work on the applicant’s property. Having chosen the moment when there were no witnesses nearby, the detainee secretly entered the utility room and took out the property located there. A confession was obtained from the suspect. The attacker disposed of other people’s belongings at his own discretion.
An investigator of police department No. 1 “Alupkinsky” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Yalta opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Theft). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to five years.
The attacker was given a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place.
