CrimeaPRESS reports:
In the shortest possible time, employees of the criminal investigation department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Yalta detained two men suspected of a robbery attack on a microcredit company.
Information about the crime was received by the police from a representative of a financial organization. The girl said that two men entered the office, whose faces were hidden under masks. One of them kept the door closed, the second attacked the worker and, threatening with a knife, demanded to give all the money from the cash register. Having taken nine thousand rubles, the attackers fled— said the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk.
When examining the scene of the incident, the investigative team found traces left by the attackers, as well as a knife, which, presumably, one of them used in the attack.
An hour later, investigators located the suspects and detained them on one of the streets of the city of Yalta. Some of the stolen money has been recovered. It was established that both detainees had already come to the attention of the police. One of them was prosecuted for theft and sale of drugs, served a sentence in prison. The second is under investigation in a criminal case on possession of drugs. The defendants are familiar with each other, for a long time they used alcohol and illegal substances together— said Irina Volk.
The investigator of Police Department No. 3 «Massandrovsky» of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Yalta initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under the second part of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The detainees are taken into custody. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
