In Yalta, specialists from departments visited debtors
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Tax officers, bailiffs and representatives of the traffic police conducted a raid to identify people with debt. In total, residents of Yalta and Alushta have accumulated almost 64 million rubles in property tax debts. But they, experts say, are one of the main sources of tax revenue for regional and local budgets.
Unfortunately, appeals from representatives of tax authorities and city administration about the need to pay off debts to the budget did not have an effect on everyone. In this connection, employees of the Interdistrict Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia No. 8 for the Republic of Crimea, together with representatives of the branch of the Federal Bailiff Service for the city of Yalta and the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, conducted a joint raid to collect tax debts. The purpose of the raid is to identify citizens, including car owners, who have not paid property taxes — transport, land, and personal property taxes. In most cases, identified debtors prefer to avoid unpleasant consequences and immediately pay off the existing debt. For those who refused to pay, forced measures were taken — the car was evacuated to the impound lot. During the raid, citizens in debt were given receipts totaling 5 million rubles,” noted the press service of the Yalta administration.
Inspectorate employees warned taxpayers about the consequences that may arise in case of non-payment of existing debts: collection of funds from the taxpayer’s accounts, seizure of property, ban on traveling abroad. In addition, information about the existence of debt is sent to the debtor’s employer.
Interdistrict Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia No. 8 for the Republic of Crimea calls on taxpayers to fulfill their constitutional obligation — to pay off existing tax debts without waiting for enforcement measures.
Finding out about tax debts today is very simple:
- In the “Taxpayer Personal Account for Individuals” service on the official website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia.
- on the official website of the Federal Bailiff Service.
- using the Unified Portal of State Services.
- upon a personal visit to the tax office at the address Yalta, Vasilyeva St., 16a
In addition, taxpayers may receive quarterly information about tax debts via SMS or email, subject to written consent to such notification.
