In Yalta, the investigation of a criminal case on attempted fraud in the amount of about 3 million rubles has been completed
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Investigation Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Yalta has completed an investigation into a criminal case against a local resident who is accused of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30 hours 4 tbsp. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted theft of someone else’s property by deception on an especially large scale).
During the preliminary investigation, operatives of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Yalta Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, as a result of a number of activities, revealed a fact of fraud in the registration of ownership of a land plot with a cadastral value of about 3 million rubles. It was established that a 67-year-old resident of Yalta, for the purpose of illegal enrichment, in violation of the procedure providing for the possibility of transferring land plots owned by municipalities in the Republic of Crimea, on which buildings were erected before 2014, to the ownership of citizens who built them, after the specified period erected a one-story unauthorized building. The building met the necessary standards and had the characteristics of individual housing construction. After which, in order to comply with the procedure for providing this land plot into ownership, she acquired a technical passport of the Municipal Enterprise with a false date of its manufacture, where information was entered that did not correspond to reality.— the details of the case were announced in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.
The offender then contacted the city administration to prepare a conclusion on the possibility of recognizing the unauthorized structure as an individual housing construction project erected before 18.03.2014, on the basis of which the corresponding Resolution was adopted.
Continuing her illegal actions, on the basis of the documents received, the woman carried out cadastral work and signed the necessary agreements with government agencies. However, the criminal scheme was exposed and the fact of providing false information regarding the construction of the building was promptly established, which did not allow the fraudulent scheme to be brought to completion. Thanks to the measures taken by operatives, an attempt to steal municipal property worth about 3 million rubles was prevented. Satellite images of the site serve as evidence, showing that no buildings were erected within its boundaries before 2014.
During the preliminary investigation, documents with forged signatures and seals, as well as decisions and agreements obtained by criminal means, were confiscated at the accused’s place of residence.
The materials of the criminal case with the indictment approved by the Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Yalta were transferred to the court for further consideration.
