In Yalta, there is a School of First Aid of the branch of the FSCC FMBA of Russia
CrimeaPRESS reports:
First aid, when on-call doctors have not yet arrived, can not only alleviate the condition of the victim, but also save his life. However, in this case, it is important not to harm the person — inept assistance is fraught with serious complications. That is why in Yalta, at the suggestion of the head of the city administration, Yanina Pavlenko, it was decided to open primary health care courses, which are conducted by doctors at the Yalta Medical College and the branch of the Federal Scientific and Practical Center of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia in Crimea.
After the opening of the School, a lot of people signed up for us, so the whole of October is already scheduled for us. But I can assure the people of Yalta that such practical lessons will be held as long as they are in demand , — the press service of the Yalta administration quotes the deputy head physician for the polyclinic section of the branch of the FSCC FMBA of Russia in Crimea, Irina Kravchenko.
What to do if a person has lost consciousness? Is it possible to lubricate the skin with burns? How to properly stop bleeding? How to properly bandage a victim with a head injury, how to lay a person down if he has lost consciousness, how to provide first aid for abdominal injuries and open wounds. At the first aid school, they teach what position to take before an indirect heart massage, how to lay the victim down, with what force and for how long this procedure should be performed. Students of the School can hone all these skills on a mannequin.
During the classes, the students asked a lot of questions, and also asked to help them collect a first aid kit so that the necessary medicines, preparations and improvised means were always at hand. We will add this aspect to our classes. We try to conduct training lessons with a small number of students so that each person can consolidate their knowledge in practice. I am glad that a lot of people enrolled in the School of First Aid. We will hold classes as long as they are in demand among the population , — notes Irina Kravchenko.
