In Yalta, they approved a new distinction — for the development of volunteering

The distinction of the Chairman of the Yalta City Council “For the development of volunteering (volunteering) is approved by the unanimous vote of deputies at the 15th session of the City Council.

Also enshrined in the regulatory act of support measures for our volunteers. There are more than 4,000 volunteers in Yalta (according to the platform Good.rf) who do good deeds in various directions from Gurzuf to Foros. For which I sincerely thank every indifferent resident of our municipality! Very soon, we will announce the competition for the development of the best design project of the new award— explained Evgeny Khrychev, who thanked the like -minded people and personally the head of the municipality of the city district of Yalta, the chairman of the Yalta city council of Konstantin Shimanovsky for the support of such a necessary initiative.

In turn, the head of the municipality noted that the volunteers of Yalta are worthy of the highest awards.

Volunteers provide assistance to their participants and their families. In the afternoon and night, birds affected by oil spill in the Black Sea were saved. Together we went through Covid, floods, hurricanes and fires. I am sincerely glad that we have a lot of such people— added Konstantin Shimanovsky.

The first distinction signs are planned to be presented to volunteers on December 5 on the day of the volunteer (volunteer).
