In Yalta they intend to plant 2,000 seedlings of 15 species of perennial plants
CrimeaPRESS reports:
According to the head of the administration, Yanina Pavlenko, perennial plants will be planted in Yalta this year for the first time in such variety and quantity — 2,000 seedlings of 15 species.
They will decorate the squares and parks of Big Yalta. So, Brunnera has already appeared on Pushkin Alley — small blue flowers resemble forget-me-nots, and after the end of a long flowering they attract with beautiful leaves. Another plus is that it grows in the shade, under large trees.says Yanina Pavlenko.
Verbena, yarrow, anemones and penstemons were planted in the park in Massandra. In the near future, asters, sage, rudbeckia, hosta, and phlox will appear in the flower beds.
The formation of hedges continues. As part of the cleanup work, “Zelenstroy”, together with social activists and volunteers, planted about 200 cherry laurel bushes on Sovetskaya Square. In total, by mid-June, Zelenstroy will have planted more than 15 thousand seedlings of trees, shrubs and perennials.
Yalta residents asked to focus on perennials. But it is these plants that most often become victims of thieves. I ask you to take care of the beauty, and at the same time I remind you that video surveillance is installed everywherenotes the head of the Yalta administration
