According to the head of the Yalta administration, Yanina Pavlenko, the city is actively working to fulfill the instructions of the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, to repair the entrances to the apartment building.
The list of the first 200 has already been approved — work has begun on many; plastering, whitewashing, and painting are underway. Much of it hasn’t been renovated for decades. We pay special attention to houses where many elderly people live. We have set a large-scale task — to cover more than 400 entrances with repairs, we are working on it,” the press service quotes Yanina Pavlenko.
According to Deputy Head of Administration Yuri Zhuravlev, more than 100 entrances have already been repaired:
We plan to do 200 by the end of March. We are actively picking up the pace thanks to patrons of the arts, at whose expense the work is being carried out. Managing organizations also carry out systematic work.
The Yalta administration notes that Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Yuri Nesterenko is providing enormous assistance — the renovation of dozens of entrances is already underway with his financial support.
