In Yalta, video cameras are being installed at container sites for collecting MSW
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Such measures are aimed at combating illegal storage of tires. According to information from the head of the Yalta administration, Yanina Pavlenko, three cameras have already been installed in the most “peak” places where massive accumulations of tires have been recorded.
In spring, the city should be surrounded by flowers and greenery, and not “winter” tires. We will install 6 more cameras in the near future. We already have the first video facts — we are identifying the offender,” the press service quotes Yanina Pavlenko.
As noted by Deputy Head of the Housing and Communal Services Department Ilya Litvinchuk, tires have a hazard class of 4 and must be disposed of in a special way. There is a specialized organization in Yalta; information can be obtained by calling 8 (978) 956-88-88.
The head of the administration also recalled the impressive fines for storing automobile tires at container sites and other places — up to 50,000 rubles for individual entrepreneurs and the self-employed and up to a quarter of a million for legal entities.
