On February 24, 2022, a special military operation began, in which the Yevpatoriyans also participate — real heroes who defended the interests of the country and the security of Russians. It was in their honor that this memorable sign was established, which will become a symbol of gratitude and a reminder of the courage and selflessness of the defenders of the Fatherland.
The solemn event was attended by the head of the city of Evpatoria Galina Gerasimova, deputy head of the administration Ivan Priestov, military personnel, their families, schoolchildren and volunteers.
Galina Gerasimova expressed deep gratitude to everyone who participated in the creation and installation of this memorial.
Our people have repeatedly proved their courage and unity in the most difficult times. And today we see how the inhabitants of Yevpatoria, like the whole country, are united to support our fighters. Let’s continue to be together, because only in unity is our power! — emphasized the head of the city.
In addition, the rally participants honored the memory of the fighters who died, fulfilling their duty, and laid flowers to the monument.
It should be noted that the memorable sign is equipped at the initiative and at the expense of the Vyshinsky family, whose representatives studied at the Integral educational complex.
