CrimeaPRESS reports:
World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims is celebrated annually on the third Sunday in November. This year marks the 30th anniversary.
On this memorable date, employees of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Evpatoria took part in donating blood for victims of road accidents, and also visited the church in the name of St. Luke, where Archpriest Vladimir Badakh performed a litany for those killed in road accidents in the city of Evpatoria.
At the end of the prayer, a member of the public council at the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Evpatoria, Father Vladimir addressed the traffic police officers:
Let us prayerfully remember all those who tragically died on the roads. Unfortunately, due to your duty, you are the first to arrive at the scene of the tragedy and see everything that is happening: pain and sorrow… I would like to wish that as few road accidents happen in our city as possible. May the Lord strengthen you in your difficult ministry!
Employees of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Evpatoria express sincere condolences to the families and friends of victims of road accidents and call on all road users to strictly observe traffic rules and be extremely careful on the road.
