The largest Federal Children’s Rehabilitation Center with a total area of ​​about 100 thousand square meters in Yevpatoria is completing equipping buildings with modern equipment. This was reported by the press service of the «Single Customer in the Sphere of Construction».

The first stage of construction of a modern medical center for children’s rehabilitation is currently being completed on the site. The first three buildings are already over 85% complete. Specialists have begun equipping the buildings with new technological and medical equipment — for the food block, sterilization station, radiation diagnostics room, as well as exercise machines, computers, furniture in the wards, etc. The delivery of all necessary equipment is planned to be completed in the fall of this year.– the company’s press service reported.

As part of the first stage, two buildings were erected on the combined territory of the Moinaki mud baths and the Rodina sanatorium — the Consultative and Diagnostic Building and the hospital building for 300 beds, and the Administrative Building was also restored. It is planned to complete all construction and installation work on the three buildings by the end of 2024.

The press service of the «Unified Customer» added that today finishing works are being completed in three buildings, installation of internal engineering systems, and the improvement of the adjacent territory is coming to an end. Also, the installation of the roof and facades of the buildings, windows and doors, installation of internal heating networks, etc. has been completed. In addition, a similar facility is being built in the Novosibirsk Region, and in Podolsk near Moscow, the same medical institution has been accepting patients for a year.

At the same time, 300 patients from one to 18 years old will be able to undergo rehabilitation. Treatment will be provided in 27 medical areas — from restoration of the musculoskeletal system to healing of the skin.

Work on the second stage of implementation, which includes the construction of a dormitory for 225 places for medical workers, a building with dining and assembly halls, as well as a boarding house for children and parents, is currently 13% complete. Currently, work on the façade and glazing is being completed in the building with the dining and assembly halls.

The new modern Center will be designed for children with diseases of the nervous system, musculoskeletal system, somatic and other diseases. The facility is planned to be put into operation in 2026.
