In Yevpatoria, the prosecutor's office demands that repair work be carried out at the Mass Grave of victims of fascist terror

The Evpatoria prosecutor’s office conducted an inspection of compliance with the requirements of legislation on the protection of cultural heritage sites. Facts have been established of failure of the municipal unitary enterprise “Intermunicipal Association “Improvement Plant” to fulfill its obligation to maintain the cultural heritage site “Mass Grave of the Victims of Fascist Terror, 1941-1944.”

The cultural heritage site is in unsatisfactory condition, however, measures to maintain the Mass Grave in proper technical condition and prevent its deterioration have not been taken, and a set of repair work has not been carried out. Due to the inaction of the balance holder, which could lead to the loss of an object of cultural heritage, the prosecutor’s office made a representation to the enterprise— reported the supervisory agency.

The progress and results of consideration of the submission are under the control of the city prosecutor’s office.
