In Yevpatoria, they are preparing for the festival of children's and family films «Sunny Island»

From 27 August to September 2 2022 in the city of Evpatoria, under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Crimea, the V Open Festival of Children and Family Films «Sunny Island» will be held .
Today in the reading room of the library. Pushkin held a working meeting on the preparation and holding of the festival. It was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, GBUK «Crimean Film and Media Center», departments of the city administration. During the meeting, the main organizational issues of the preparation of the festival, the venue for the events of the film forum were discussed, — the press service of the Public Relations and Media Department of the Yevpatoriya City Administration notes.
The organizers reported that this year, within the framework of the festival, creative meetings and master classes are planned, which will be held by famous Russian actors, directors, producers, as well as meetings, round tables, informational screenings and interesting innovations.
The opening of the festival will take place August at the Theater Square in the city of Evpatoria. Closing of the festival will be held on September 1 at the theater. A.S. Pushkin.
The films will be shown in the cinemas of the city of Evpatoria: «Rocket» (Prospekt Lenina, 3) and «Kino Maximum» (st. May 9th, 47-A).
Admission to all events is free.
Recall that the festival of children’s and family cinema «Sunny Island» is an important, socially significant project for Yevpatoria and the Republic of Crimea, the purpose of which is to educate a high moral culture, spirituality and patriotism of the younger generation by means of cinema, as well as to popularize domestic cinema. The festival is designed to promote the familiarization of children and adolescents with the cultural heritage of the country, in particular, the best works of national film classics and modern films.
