In Yevpatoria, they honored the memory of internal affairs officers who died in the line of duty

On June 5, on the Day of Education of the Russian Police, the leadership and personnel of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Yevpatoria, with the participation of police department veterans and members of the Public Council at the police department, honored the memory of internal affairs officers who died in the line of duty and laid flowers at the chapel of St. George the Victorious.
Speaking to colleagues, Deputy Head of the Department — Head of the Department for Work with Personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Evpatoria, Police Lieutenant Colonel Irina Pan, noted that the establishment of this memorable date, along with the official holiday of November 10 — the Day of Employees of the Internal Affairs Bodies of the Russian Federation, contributes to the preservation of historical knowledge and positive experience of police work in protecting public order and security.
Today we gathered near the Chapel of St. George the Victorious to honor the memory of law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty, who sacrificed their lives in the fight against crime, for the sake of the peace of citizens,” Irina Pan summed up her speech.
During the event, the rector of the church in the name of St. Luke, Archpriest Vladimir Badakh, served a memorial service for the fallen employees of the internal affairs bodies.
