In Yevpatoria, two local residents will be sent to a colony for beating a man who died from his injuries. The men were found guilty under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, resulting in the death of the victim through negligence).
The court found that in April 2023, the convicts, while in one of the apartments in the village of Novoozernoye, during a quarrel with the victim on the basis of personal hostility, inflicted multiple blows on the latter’s body, including with an iron. As a result of the actions of the convicts, the victim suffered serious bodily injuries, from which he subsequently died— reported the prosecutor’s office.
The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the perpetrators to 4 and 6 years of imprisonment to be served in a juvenile correctional colony and in a high-security correctional colony.
