Incident at Cape Tarkhankut: a tourist fell off a three-meter cliff

At 15:05, the control panel of the emergency department on duty received a signal that a man fell off a cliff near the coast near the rocky ledges of the Bolshoy Atlesh tract, on Cape Tarkhankut. The help of rescuers is required in its evacuation from a hard-to-reach rocky area. The shift on duty of the Black Sea rescue team «Crimea-SPAS» immediately left for the scene.
Upon arrival, in order to promptly provide assistance to the victim, the employees of the emergency department decided to evacuate him by water. On the boat, the rescuers went to the search area. Having established visual contact with the man, they approached the shore, lifted him on board the watercraft and delivered him to the ambulance. As it turned out, the man, while relaxing on the Big Atlesh, inadvertently stumbled and fell off a cliff about 3 meters high.— reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
The victim is hospitalized.
