Incident in Sevastopol: a building collapsed, a man and a cat were trapped under the rubble

In a two-story building on the territory of the Utes garage cooperative in the Sevastopol village of Kacha, a burst of gas-air mixture occurred due to depressurization of the cylinder.
Having arrived at the scene, the fire and rescue units of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations established that there was a man under the collapsed fragments of the building. Rescue operations began immediately. After dismantling the structures, department employees rescued the victim. Conscious, with burns and bruises, he was transferred to doctors for hospitalization. They also found a cat under the rubble. The animal was taken by the victim’s relatives— reported the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Sevastopol.
13 specialists and 3 vehicles were deployed on site from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. Other emergency services were also involved. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
