The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered to open a criminal case into a dog attack on a schoolchild in the southern coastal city of Simeiz.

The media and social media reported that in the village of Simeiz, Republic of Crimea, on the school grounds, a dog attacked a 14-year-old boy, causing a stomach wound. The victim required medical attention. A procedural check has begun at the Main Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, instructed the head of the Main Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Vladimir Nikolaevich Terentyev, to initiate a criminal case and submit a report on the progress and results of his investigation— reported in Sledkom.

The execution of the order is placed under control in the central office of the department.
