Yesterday morning, the emergency department’s operational control panel received a message that in the area of the Alushta village of Utes, a man fell off a cliff. The help of rescuers is needed in transporting him to an ambulance from a hard-to-reach place. Employees of the Alushta emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» promptly went to the scene of the incident.
The man carelessly lost his balance and fell off the cliff, sliding down a steep scree slope about 20 meters. As a result, the victim suffered a leg injury. Rescuers provided him with first aid, putting a splint on his injured limb. Using alpine equipment, he was transported on a stretcher up the slope and handed over to paramedics.— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
