Incident in the New World: SUP surfer injured

On September 13 at 17:30, the duty department of the Crimean LU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for transport received a message from the central group of the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels that in the Black Sea, abeam the Shalyapin Grotto, in Goluboy Bay, the village of Novy Svet, a collision with a small vessel occurred for a stand-up surfer.
An investigative and operational group of the Crimean Line Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Transport went to the scene of the incident, whose employees established that as a result of the collision, a 50-year-old SUP surfer, a 50-year-old resident of St. Petersburg, received bodily injuries in the form of a hip fracture. He was admitted to a nearby hospital.
Based on the results of the inspection, materials regarding the 49-year-old captain of a small boat will be sent to the investigative authorities to make a legal decision.
