Incident on the eastern coast of Crimea: a man in a boat was carried 5 km from the shore

On August 8, at 20:55, the Crisis Management Center received a message that in the area of the village of Morskoye (eastern coast of Crimea) a man sailed away on a motorboat and disappeared. Rescue assistance is needed.
Rescuers used a boat to find the victim in the sea, 5 km from the shore, and towed him to a safe place. He did not need medical assistance.— reported the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Kalmykia.
It turned out that the motorboat suddenly ran out of gas, all the man’s efforts to «row» to the shore were unsuccessful. With each passing minute the boat was carried further and further into the open sea. The rescuers came to help in time!
