On July 3, at 11:48 a.m., a signal was received by the operational duty officer that in the village of Novy Svet, on the Golitsyn trail, a man had injured his leg and could not move independently. A duty shift of the Sudak emergency rescue team «Crimea-SPAS» was sent to the scene.
The victim was found on the Golitsyn trail, 50-60 meters higher than Chaliapin’s grotto, on the slope of a narrow section of the tourist trail. Rescuers provided the man with first aid by applying a vacuum tire to the injured limb. Also, with the help of a stretcher, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations transported the victim from a hard-to-reach place of the rock massif to the ambulance car for further hospitalization— reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
