Initiatives of Sevastopol residents are in the top 1000 ideas of the forum «Strong Ideas for the New Times»

This year, the Strong Ideas for the New Times forum, organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Roscongress Foundation, received nearly 24,000 initiatives. Of these, the experts chose the top 1000 ideas — these are the most promising projects and solutions, the implementation of which will make it possible to achieve significant changes in the socio-economic development of the country. Among them are eight ideas from Sevastopol.

The number of submitted applications for the forum is increasing every year, including in Sevastopol. This year, residents of the city sent almost 100 promising and interesting initiatives. This suggests that the site is in demand and the trust of residents in it is growing. Experts have already selected eight ideas of Sevastopol residents — this is an excellent result and an indicator of the quality of the initiatives of our residents— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the department of economic development Denis Profatilov.

The ideas that were selected from Sevastopol are presented in different categories: national social initiative, technological, environmental initiative and in the field of entrepreneurship.

In the social sphere, the experts selected the idea of ​​popularizing the format of performances-excursions for schoolchildren with an educational function. In terms of technology, there are three ideas: the creation of an unmanned aviation personnel training center based on the establishment of a free software program for the development of the economy of Sevastopol, the creation of a Copernicus analogue system within the BRICS member countries, a new model for the transformation of electric grid companies.

Three more ideas are presented in the field of ecology: the creation of forest culture and forest industry in the Crimea and Sevastopol, a system for environmental monitoring of the city’s water area, as well as a technological complex for digital environmental monitoring of coastal areas. In the field of entrepreneurship, they noted the initiative of Sevastopol residents on share investments of citizens in the Russian tourism industry.

In total, the top 1000 included 572 ideas in the National Social Initiative direction, 308 in the National Technology Initiative, 179 in the National Ecological Initiative, 122 in the Entrepreneurship direction, 109 in the National Personnel Initiative , 75 — for «Digital Services».

Ideas and projects were evaluated by current members of the ASI regional expert groups, experts from professional and industry communities, as well as representatives of partner organizations — about two thousand people in total.

Recall that further the ASI expert council will determine the top 100 initiatives. The final point of the Strong Ideas for a New Time forum will be a two-day face-to-face event, which will be held on June 28-29, 2023. 100 best ideas and projects will be presented there, some of them will be presented to Russian President Vladimir Putin. This year, for the first time, a decision was made to provide financial support to the forum participants: the top 10 finalists will receive five million rubles each, the next top 50 — one million each.
