CrimeaPRESS reports:
Five new points for charging electric vehicles will appear in Sevastopol: three in the Omega Bay area and two on Fiolentovskoe Highway near the Uyutstroy shopping center.
Work to install charging stations near Omega Bay is already underway, they were complicated by weather conditions, — reported the press service of the government of Sevastopol.
A pilot project to create a charging infrastructure for electric vehicles started in the city in 2022. Today, 27 electric filling stations have already been installed. Plans for next year include 10 more.
This year the state program “Energy Development” was adjusted. Now investors installing chargers for electric cars will be reimbursed up to 60% of the funds for the implementation of projects, rather than 30% as before.
The number of electric vehicles in Sevastopol has increased almost 13 times over three years: in 2021 there were 38, and at the beginning of 2024 — 485.
