Inter-regional judo competitions took place in Sevastopol. About 150 athletes took part

Interregional judo competitions among boys and girls under 18 were held on the basis of the Musson sports complex. Representatives of the Belgorod, Kursk, Sverdlovsk, Kherson, Zaporozhye and Tula regions, the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory and Moscow came to Sevastopol to participate in this annual tournament. The hosts of the tournament are pupils of the Sevastopol school of judo. In total, about 150 athletes took to the tatami.

Representatives of the national team of Sevastopol in judo came before the guests of honor and participants of the competition with demonstration performances. Athletes demonstrated a bright set of throws and various technical actions.

I thank the organizers for holding such an important and interesting event for the athletes! It was great to meet athletes from different parts of Russia. I hope that such competitions will become a tradition, because sport unites— says Cyril, a participant in the competition from the Zaporozhye region.

The best athletes in their weight categories were awarded medals and diplomas, and the brightest judokas were awarded «For the will to win». The winners will also be able to apply for the fulfillment of the standards of a candidate for master of sports.

The competitions were held with the aim of attracting students to a healthy lifestyle, engaging them in active physical culture and sports, developing their analytical and mental abilities, which contributes to the implementation of the regional project «Sport is the norm of life.»
