Interesting statistics: over 9 months of 2023, more than 16 thousand crimes were committed in Crimea

For 9 months of 2023, 16.3 thousand crimes were registered in Crimea, the nationwide detection rate is 72%. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Crimea.

There is a decrease in the number of crimes in public places (-7.3%), including on the streets, squares, parks, squares (-10.1%), as well as those committed while intoxicated (-1.9%).

Law enforcement agencies identified 1,827 crimes in the field of drug trafficking, including 1,003 facts of their sale.

The detection rate for these crimes was 69.9%, and for sales – 48.5%.

In Crimea, 8.7 thousand crimes against property were registered (8676), the detection rate of which was 60.4%. It should be noted that on the territory of the Republic the number of registered thefts (-19%), robberies (-10.9%) and robberies (-17.2%) decreased.

The number of crimes related to violation of traffic rules decreased by 28.1% (from 288 to 207), including those resulting in the death of the victim by negligence — by 20% (from 75 to 60)noted the supervisory agency.
