#InventedOnTavrida: at the Meganom Academy, creators will improve their project management competencies

On July 17, at the Academy of Creative Industries «Meganom» (project «Tavrida.ART»), training began in the Design Workshop #InventedOnTavrida. The program is aimed at transforming the thinking of representatives of the creative industries and strengthening their expertise in the field of project management. Based on the results of the training, students will receive certificates of advanced training from the Russian University of Economics. G. V. Plekhanov.

From July 17 to July 22, the Meganom Academy hosts an in-person module of the Design Workshop #InventedOnTavrida — this is an interactive program for developing competencies in the field of creative project management. Participants of the program will learn how to form the management culture of project teams, master modern practices of communication and interaction, and gain practical experience in project management. The program of the Design Workshop is supervised by: the head of the project support service of the art cluster «Tavrida», the expert mentor of Rosmolodezh.Grants and the expert of grant competitions Oksana Nikiforova, as well as the methodologist, the implementer of educational projects and programs, the expert of Rosmolodezh.Grants, the expert of grant competitions Daria Lipovetskaya.

The program is designed for participants over the age of 18, winners of grant competitions, representatives of creative associations, cultural institutions, non-profit and commercial organizations. Self-employed and individual entrepreneurs in the field of creative industries will also be able to take part in the design workshop.

The creative industries are rapidly developing, young creators come up with bold and relevant ideas, but just coming up with ideas is no longer enough. To realize a dream, it is necessary to master new competencies: the key one is project management. Project management allows you to calculate, plan and decompose into stages the path to achieving the goal. A person who understands how to realize his idea and what exactly needs to be done will certainly realize his plan.— says the organizer of the program Oksana Nikiforova.

The face-to-face module of the Project Workshop #InventedOnTavrida is dedicated to the characteristics of the target audiences of creative projects, the principles of creative management, financial strategies and prospects for the development and scaling of creative industries in Russia. As part of the educational intensive, participants will understand the composition and roles of the project team, analyze the phases of the project life cycle, and also study the main and auxiliary project management processes. The program will form the participants’ ability to create their own project teams and determine the areas of responsibility of their participants, manage the resources and budget of the project, formulate concepts, goals and objectives. Participants will improve their skills in negotiation, public speaking and presentations, learn to evaluate the results and formulate requirements for the quality of the project. As a result of the training, students will receive certificates of advanced training from the Russian Economic University. G. V. Plekhanov.

During the week, the participants will be taught project management by leading experts from the creative industries.
