According to the Investigative Committee, an investigation into the fire of a semi-trailer tank in Simferopol is being carried out for Art. 143 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — violation of labor protection requirements, resulting in negligence in causing serious harm to human health. On the territory of an enterprise for the transportation of fuels and lubricants in the Moskovskoye Highway area, during repair work, a semi-trailer tank caught fire, two employees were seriously injured, both of them are in serious condition. Investigators inspected the scene of the incident and ordered a number of examinations. The preliminary cause of the fire was a violation of safety regulations— reported in Sledkom.
The investigation is studying technical documentation, interviewing witnesses and eyewitnesses, and taking measures to identify the persons responsible for the operation of technical equipment and compliance with safety regulations on the territory.
