The criminal investigation into the death of a family in a private house in the village of Ukromnoye continues. About this tragedy — HERE.
The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol continues to investigate the criminal case into the death of a married couple, their 8-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter in a private house in the village of Ukromnoye, who were discovered on the morning of December 4 with signs of poisoning (Part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)— reported in Sledkom.
The investigation department for the Simferopol region has previously established that the cause of the tragedy was a malfunction of the gas boiler: damage was detected to the automatic sensor that controlled the reverse draft, as a result of which the premises of the house were filled with carbon dioxide.
Three more children of the deceased couple continue to be hospitalized. Doctors are stabilizing their condition; no deterioration in health is observed.
As part of the case, appropriate examinations have been appointed with the involvement of gas industry specialists.
Head of the Main Investigation Department V.N. Terentyev was instructed to carefully establish all the circumstances of the tragedy and evaluate the actions of the control services responsible for checking the functioning of heating equipment. The progress of the criminal investigation has been placed under personal control by the leadership of the Main Investigation Departmentemphasized the regional department of the Sledkom.
