Investment project for the development of a seaport in the reed bay — how are things going

Krympress reports:

Mikhail Razvozhaev on July 4 took part in a solemn selector meeting in the coordination center of the Russian government. The meeting was dedicated to the Day of employees of the sea and river fleet, it was held by Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev.

Opening the meeting, Vitaly Savelyev read out the congratulation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and turned to those present:

I have great respect for you and the work that you do daily. We have high goals. I am sure that you will successfully achieve them and implement all large -scale tasks. I wish you success, good luck and prosperity.

During the meeting, Mikhail Razvozhaev spoke about the implementation of the investment project for the development of a seaport in the Kamyshovaya Bay. Recall that in the framework of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, an appropriate agreement was signed with the head of the Federal Agency of Sea and River transport Andrei Tarasenko, General Director of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise «Rosmorport» Sergey Pylin and the investor, Aval.

For a long time, the port practically did not work. To date, three tests with a container with a capacity of 260 containers have already been completed. In mid -July, the fourth test flight will be completed. The necessary port appliances were purchased, preparations are underway for the repair of fixed assets in the port and hydraulic engineering. The plans for 2025: the volumes of transshipment in the port should amount to 500 thousand tons of inert, tarred-wretched and general cargo, and up to 2000 units of containers.

In 2026, the volumes of transshipment are planned up to 1 million tons of inert, targeted, general cargo and up to 20,000 containers. In subsequent years, the main emphasis of the port’s development will be aimed at increasing the tonnage of containers and an increase in the volume of overloaded containers, including perishable loads. Thus, by 2030 it is planned to reach the annual volume of the transshipment of sea containers about 250,000 units— said Mikhail Razvozhaev.

The governor noted that the joint activities of the city and port will directly affect the level of the economy not only of Sevastopol, but also of the entire Crimean peninsula. In parallel, the development of passenger flights is also discussed.
