One in five iPhone owners will not accept a job offer if the condition for employment is the rejection of an Apple smartphone. Owners of iPhones from the Crimea took part in the survey of the SuperJob service for finding a highly paid job.
Since July 17, employees of the Ministry of Industry and Trade have been banned from using iPhones for work communication. Earlier, for security reasons, a similar ban was introduced in the administration of the President of the Russian Federation. Meanwhile, every fifth owner of a phone released by Apple is not ready to change it to another gadget even for the sake of employment: 22% will refuse to work in a company that puts forward such conditions. On the contrary, 46% reported willingness to sacrifice an iPhone for the sake of hiring. Those for whom employment is more important than a familiar phone are more among men than among women (51% versus 44% among women)— noted in the press service of the service.
Reject a job offer if the condition is the rejection of the iPhone, respondents under 34 years old are ready much more often than the older generation (32% vs. 14%, respectively).
