Rosreestr is increasingly receiving questions about whether it is possible to register real estate located in the territories of new constituent entities of the Russian Federation while in Crimea and Sevastopol. The extraterritorial principle in Crimea and Sevastopol is still valid for all regions of the Russian Federation, except for new territories. Nevertheless, today such a service is already available in the MFC of the Rostov region.

In general, Rosreestr is carrying out work that will make it possible to establish in regional MFCs the provision of Rosreestr services for citizens of the Russian Federation whose real estate is located in the territories of new subjects, but now it has not yet been completed,” emphasizes the head of the Rosreestr Office for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol Olesya Kalinkina.
