It is not necessary to “give up” themselves: the platforms will automatically label the twenty bloggers

Krympress reports:

The launch of automated labeling services on the largest Russian platforms — VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Zen and Rutube — can be considered an important step to simplify the interaction between bloggers and the state, State Duma deputy Anton Nemkin notes.

Russian VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Zen and Rutube platforms launched services that allow bloggers with an audience of more than 10 thousand subscribers to automatically get marking. This was reported in the press service of Roskomnadzor.

As specified in the RKN, services simplify the registration of new channels — it is not required to enter the application number in the description of their page.

The service was developed as part of the implementation of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 28, 2024 No. 1963 “On certain issues of dissemination of information on social networks”. The document establishes the rules for providing information in Roskomnadzor by the owners of channels with an audience of more than 10 thousand subscribers.

On November 1, 2024, the owners of the two thousand channels had the opportunity to submit data about themselves to Roskomnadzor through the “public services”. From January 1, 2025, the requirements for registration have become mandatory. Roskomnadzor has already registered more than 134 thousand pages with an audience of more than 10 thousand people.

The launch of automated labeling services on the largest Russian platforms — VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Zen, and Rutube — can be considered an important step to simplify the interaction between bloggers and the state, the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications, the federal coordinator of the Digital Russia party project Anton Nemkin. “This removes part of the bureaucratic load from the authors of the content and contributes to the more transparent fulfillment of the requirements of the law. Automation of the process is especially important against the background of the rapid growth of the number of bloggers with a large audience— notes the deputy.

At the same time, it is important that new tools take into account the reality of the digital environment and help not to complicate the life of the authors, at the same time withdrawing their activities in the legal field, Nemkin added. “We see a rather high level of involvement from bloggers and understanding the need for these measures. However, it is important to continue to provide information support — so that bloggers, especially in the regions, understand how to work with new requirements and what registration carries. In this sense, the synergy of the state and platforms becomes a key factor in success. I would like to believe that other platforms popular in Russia will soon join this interaction, in particular, Telegram, ”concluded Nemkin.
