It is planned to complete the overhaul of Gorpischenko Street in Sevastopol in October

In Sevastopol, the overhaul of Gorpischenko Street continues. Works within the framework of the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads» are carried out on the section from Nikolai Ostrovsky Street to Laboratornoye Highway with a length of more than 4 km.

On the section from Laboratornoye Highway to house No. 60 on Gorpischenko Street, workers have already completely laid the lower layer of asphalt pavement.

Today, all stages of construction and installation work are carried out according to the calendar schedule, the completion of work on the facility is scheduled for October. The construction readiness of the facility is more than 60%, — said the head of the technical control department and the laboratory of the directorate for development of road transport infrastructure Viktor Kologrimov.

The project provides for a whole range of measures to bring the road and the pedestrian zone to the standard technical condition. The contractor company «Vesta» performs the reconstruction of the contact network of the trolleybus, the heat supply network, additional wells for storm sewers, changes curbs and asphalt concrete pavement, equips exits to residential buildings and installs new car pavilions. In addition, a bicycle path will appear on Gorpischenko Street.

After the overhaul, two lanes will remain on the road. The average width of the carriageway will be from seven to eight meters. During the period of work, public transport traffic is carried out continuously.

Recall that in just 533 year, within the framework of the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads», 73 streets and repair two bridge structures. The total length of the objects is more than km.
