The Saki District Court rendered a verdict in a criminal case against a resident of the city of Yevpatoria. The Crimean citizen was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person subject to administrative punishment).
The court found that the defendant, having been brought to administrative responsibility for driving while intoxicated, after drinking alcohol again got behind the wheel of a Honda Guro moped. Moving along one of the streets in the area of the Orbita SEC, a young man was stopped by traffic police officers and removed from driving.— the prosecutor’s office gave details.
Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the court sentenced the perpetrator to 150 hours of compulsory labor with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for 1 year. The Honda Guro moped was confiscated to the state. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
