It's hot in Crimea. How to avoid heatstroke
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The weather these days in Crimea is not like June. It’s just the peak of summer. Forecasters promise short-term rains (and those in some places) next week. But the air temperature is stable at “plus 30”. How to protect yourself in such sunny, hot weather? The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea recommends.
Avoid spending long periods of time in the open sun.
Use headwear when moving around the city: caps, bonnets, scarves, panama hats.
Drink more fluid: plain, still, cool, but not cold water.
Don’t drink alcohol in hot weather.
When traveling on public transport during rush hour, stop along the way and go outside for a cooler environment.
If you feel unwell, dizzy, or feel nauseous, immediately go into the shade, sit down, wet a handkerchief or any cloth with water and apply it to your head. Drink some water.
While on the street, ask passers-by to stay with you until the ambulance arrives.
If you feel unwell, immediately call the phone number “103” or “112”.
