It stood forgotten and abandoned for 20 years… In Yalta, the “Ivushka” kindergarten was given a rebirth
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Ivushka kindergarten was officially opened in Yalta. The preschool has completed a major renovation after the building was abandoned for 20 years.
The opening ceremony was attended by the head of the Yalta administration Yanina Pavlenko, the head of the Department of Education and Youth Policy Renard Kutkovsky, the deputy of the Yalta City Council, the chairman of the committee on education, science, culture, maternal and child health, youth affairs and sports Alexander Turovsky and others.
We have taken another step towards eliminating the queue. This is one of the priority tasks set by the Head of Crimea Sergei Valerievich Aksenov, who pays great attention to the development of our children. Welcome, my dears! I thank the director of school 4 (to which the kindergarten belongs) Tatyana Aleksandrovna Shabanova for her vigilant control during repairs and her sincere attitude towards our childrensaid Yanina Pavlenko.
Our beautiful “Ivushka” is like a mysterious Phoenix bird reborn from the ashes. 100 happy kids will spend their best years here, and their parents will be calm and confident that the children are in a comfortable and safe environment. I sincerely thank everyone who helped, supported and worked on the restoration of the preschool institution. Good luck, dear kids.,” said Renard Kutkovsky.
83 million rubles were allocated from the republican and local budgets for the overhaul of the kindergarten. What is done? The skeleton of the building was restored, internal and external utility networks were replaced, finishing work was completed, and the territory was landscaped — pavilions, MAFs, fencing, and landscaping appeared here. We also updated the heating system (boilers), catering unit, laundry room, medical office, purchased furniture, toys and everything necessary for a comfortable stay for children in the garden — it is designed for 100 people.
