The Civil Registry Office of the Republic of Crimea spoke about the state registration of civil status acts from January 3 to January 6. It turned out that from January 3 to January 6, 65 births and only 1 marriage were registered in Crimea.

The largest number of births was registered by the birth registration department of the city of Simferopol — 21 (19 using the super service «Birth of a Child»), the Simferopol district civil registry office — 14 and the Saki regional civil registry department — 8, — reported the Civil Registry Department. — There are fewer boys than girls: 27 and 38.

Children were given mostly common names; most often the following were included in the first birth certificates: Alexander, Mikhail, Timofey, Miron, Andrey, Nikita, Bogdan, Leonid, Reshad, Salim, Vsevolod, Alisa, Maria, Sofia, Valeria, Anna, Alina , Milan.

Also, the babies were given names that are not so often used today when naming newborns: Yakov, Spartak, Mursel, Saifullah, Dana, Agnia.

But that very only January marriage was registered in the Feodosia city registry office. We celebrated the New Year and… decided to start a family.
